AML erythroid leukemia

>80% of the all nucleated bone marrow cells are from erytroid origin and >30% are large immature erythroid precursors ( proerythroblasts) with a central round nucleus, dispersed chromatin, one or several nucleoli, deep basophilic cytoplasm and cytoplasmic vacuoles, many cells also have cytoplasmic blebs. Sometimes giant forms and/or multinucleation.
Most blasts are CD45-, CD34-, CD117-, HLA-Dr-, MPO-, CD71+, CD105+, glycophorin A+, often CD36+.
